Early 70's Jimmy Page had a sexual relationship with Lori Maddox while she was 14 and he was an adult in his late twenties. Accounts of Led Zeppelin's touring years also describe sexual involvement with other underage girls. Source
1969 A 1969 incident at Seattle's Edgewater Inn has long been associated with Led Zeppelin and became known as the "Mud Shark Incident." Accounts alleged that a young woman was subjected to a sexualized act involving a fish. However, the story has circulated in several conflicting versions. In a 2016 investigation, Louder examined accounts from Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice and Led Zeppelin road manager Richard Cole. Cole later denied that the more extreme versions of the story, including claims of rape, were true, while Appice gave a different account in which members of Led Zeppelin and Vanilla Fudge were present. 1975 John Bonham was involved in a violent incident aboard Led Zeppelin's private plane in January 1975 while heavily intoxicated. Accounts describe him assaulting a stewardess and behaving violently toward other people aboard the aircraft. Some biographical accounts additionally allege that he sexually assaulted a stewardess during the incident. Source
1971 Led Zeppelin donated the proceeds of their Hiroshima concert to relief for survivors of the 1945 atomic bombing. The band's official archive reproduces a thank-you letter from Hiroshima's mayor confirming the purpose of the concert. Source
