| 2008, 2020 | Hollywood Undead's early work, particularly the album "Swan Songs" (2008), contained homophobic slurs, derogatory language, and violent imagery. In 2020, Johnny 3 Tears said the band were "young and angry" at the time and regretted some of those lyrics, explaining that while he still opposes censorship, they would not have written certain lines had they understood the harm they could cause. He added that the band has since become more socially aware and no longer aims to offend people for its own sake. | Source |
