| 1997, 1998 | Jon Nödtveidt was convicted in 1998 as an accomplice in the 1997 murder of Josef ben Meddour and served prison time, being released in 2004. Nödtveidt was involved with the Misanthropic Luciferian Order (MLO) at the time and committed the crime together with fellow MLO member Nemesis Khoshnood-Sharis. Although the role of occult beliefs in the murder could not be clearly established, Swedish media described the crime as a homophobic hate crime. | Source |
