| 2021 | Kristin Hayter, formerly known as Lingua Ignota, publicly accused lead vocalist Alexis Marshall of emotional, psychological and sexual abuse during their relationship, including coercion, assault and rape. Marshall denied the allegations, described the relationship as mutually unhealthy and said he was considering legal action. No publicly reported criminal conviction or civil judgment has established the allegations as fact. Sargent House, Marshall’s record label, said it had stopped working with him in August 2021 after learning about Hayter’s account privately. The label later publicly supported her. | Source |
