| 2024 | Juha Raïvïo has explicitly spoken against anti-gay harassment and incorporated a same-sex love story into Swallow the Sun's “Firelights” video. He described the decision as deliberately showing “Adam and Adam” and rejected hostile reactions to the video's gay theme. The same project was directly motivated by Raïvïo seeing a gay Finnish dancer receive death threats for publicly showing affection toward his boyfriend. Raïvïo expressed disgust at the threats and used the video to challenge that hostility. | Source |
