| Demons & Wizards was a collaboration between Blind Guardian vocalist Hansi Kürsch and Iced Earth guitarist Jon Schaffer. Schaffer participated in the January 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol and was subsequently convicted of obstructing an official proceeding and unlawfully entering or remaining in a restricted building while carrying a dangerous weapon. He pleaded guilty in 2021 and was sentenced to three years of probation in 2024. Following his arrest, Kürsch ended his collaboration with Schaffer, effectively bringing Demons & Wizards to an end.
