2026 Booba received a three-month suspended sentence and a €30,000 fine for online harassment and racist insults against journalist Linh-Lan Dao after she challenged claims that COVID-19 vaccines were connected to Creutzfeldt–Jakob disease. The court found that his posts exposed her to widespread abuse and aimed to silence her criticism. He has appealed, so the ruling is not final yet. Source
2022-2027 Booba will stand trial in March 2027 for allegedly cyberharassing influencer agent Magali Berdah. Investigators counted hundreds of posts that they described as malicious and degrading, including attacks on her appearance, religion and personal life, as well as the disclosure of sensitive locations. Booba denies acting maliciously and says he was exposing deceptive influencer practices. Source
1997 Booba was convicted for the robbery and assault of a taxi driver. He received a four-year prison sentence and served about 18 months before being released on parole. Source

He criticized Puma for suspending business in Russia and threatened to end his sponsorship deal over what he viewed as the brand’s anti-Russian stance.
