| Founder David DiSanto’s then-wife, Katy DiSanto, accused him of physical, verbal and sexual abuse, partly linked to his alcohol use, and shared written claims, photographs and video footage. A temporary Protection From Abuse order was issued on June 11, 2019. DiSanto disputed her account and later said he had never been criminally charged with domestic violence and had no criminal record. The controversy resurfaced in 2022, when Century Media dropped Vektor shortly after signing the band, and in 2023, when Vektor was removed from the 70000 Tons of Metal lineup. | Source |
